How I found more storage space for my small kitchen.

I have a very small kitchen that sometimes I hate very much. This I know that having a small kitchen can be very stressful. I acknowledge the state that my kitchen is in, I get discouraged fairly quickly.  Also, I usually end up at the point that it makes me very mad that the house seems to always be in a state of chaos. This can be very frustrating.  I like to try and remain calm and collected when dealing with the kitchen messes. I have come up with a few solutions to help organize my tiny kitchen. Since there isn’t a whole lot of room, to begin with, I had to get creative with my tiny kitchen.

A few ways I changed my kitchen for the better.

Here are a few ways I improved my kitchen. I wanted my kitchen to feel more organized. I knew this would be a difficult task considering I didn’t have a lot of room to work with in the first place.

Reordered my spice collection.

My spice collection used to look really terrible. So I redid them. Now I know where every single spice is and how much of it I have left. I also don’t feel like it falls over as much when closing the oven door, which used to happen a lot. I’m very happy with the way it turned out here. I know it’s nothing really special but it was such a simple fix. Sometimes that’s all you need to make a space more livable.

Utilized the cabinet above my fridge.

I used to keep my cookbooks on my kitchen counter. They took up a lot of space. It was time for a change. I wanted to put them somewhere I could still get to them but they weren’t in the way anymore. Pinterest is a real time saver and always has the best ideas for projects around the house. I decided to go with this setup. It looks great and its still functional. I put my crock pot in front of the cabinet as well as a few other small appliances. I’m so happy with this setup.
